The stress you’re dealing with is impacting and/or overwhelming your senses so… 

here are a few ideas that will help you decrease your sensory stress:

Take steps to make sure you feel safe in your home, at work and in your neighborhood

 

Decorate your spaces to ensure that you are comfortable and not bored or overwhelmed in your space

 

Include healing elements at work and at home, including plants, artwork, and ambient music

 

Exercise or find other ways to release the energy, pain or over stimulation you feel that causes you to avoid touch

 

Include natural elements such as lemons, lavender or eucalyptus to help fill your spaces with pleasing aromas

 

Spend time alone, being still and quiet to help you unwind
