Align Your Work with Your Purpose | Tracie Braylock

Do you have to drag yourself out of bed, out the door & into a place that you despise all for the sake of having a job to pay the bills?

What would your life look like if you actually got up every day to do a job or work in a career that you loved?

Remember when you used to dream about what you wanted to do and who you wanted to be and were excited about what your life would look like?

When did that all end? When did you give up? When did you change your mind?

That dream. That goal. That life. You can have it. You deserve it.

Stop settling. Start living.

I’m not saying it’s going to be easy. But it definitely will be worth it.

Get up every day to do work that matters; work that is aligned with your purpose and your passions.

Now, I’m not telling you to quit your job tomorrow. Let’s exercise a bit of wisdom here. But I am telling you to assess who you are, where you are, what you’re doing & why you’re doing it.

Don’t just accept life as it comes. Make real (sometimes difficult) and intentional decisions that lead you towards a life of fulfilled purpose, in which you serve the world with the gifts only you possess.

Comfort & mediocrity are unacceptable. You have an obligation to give the world what only you can offer.

Besides, there’s nothing more fulfilling than doing the work that you are meant to do in this world each and every day. Stop living on the sidelines, accepting the familiar and being miserable with a job that you hate.

It’s time to live your purpose on purpose!

Love this post Tracie! You are right it isn’t easy to at all to stop settling and really pursue what we are passionate about but I think it’s much harder to continue being complacent. I think it really hurts us deep in our core to continue doing something that just doesn’t align with your soul! Thanks for sharing and inspiring ☺️
