Turmeric is known as a healing spice. Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric is soothing, relaxing and extremely nourishing to your body.
Curcumin, the potent compound found in turmeric has numerous health benefits, including the ability to lower inflammation, boost liver function, protect nerves and brain cells and promote healthy mood balance and youthful skin.
I love to drink Golden Turmeric Milk right before bed to help me unwind and boost my bodies healing and restorative processes throughout the night while I sleep.
I’m sharing 2 different recipes so you can try this delicious drink for yourself.
You can prepare your Golden Turmeric Milk in a small pot on your stove top.
The first recipe uses Gaia’s Golden Milk which is a blend of turmeric, dates, cardamom, ashwagandha, vanilla bean and black pepper. This blend is vegan and dairy free, but should not be used during pregnancy or lactation. You can find Gaia’s Golden Milk here.
8 oz of Almond Milk
1 teaspoon of Gaia’s Golden Milk
1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 tablespoon of Honey
The second recipe can be used if you do not have Gaia’s Golden Milk.
8 oz of Almond Milk
1 teaspoon of ground Turmeric
1 teaspoon of Cinnamon
1 pinch of Black Pepper
1 tablespoon of Honey
You can add these optional ingredients to either recipe. Modify them to suit your taste and for the additional nutritional benefits.

Coconut Milk
