You’re imagining your life differently than the reality you’re living.

You want to believe that your goals are reasonable. That you’re worthy of the life you really want and that what you’re envisioning isn’t impossible to achieve.

Yet, you’re not making much progress and you don’t know why.

You may be suffering from one of these 5 conditions that can keep you stuck and unable to achieve your goals.

  • Doubt
  • Disappointment
  • Disease
  • Decision Fatigue
  • Distractions

If you’re suffering from doubt, you’re unable to believe the truth about what you’re capable of achieving.

If you’ve previously suffered a disappointment, you may be afraid that your future actions will lead to further disappointments. You may be unaware that these underlying feelings even exist and that they’re preventing you from achieving your goals.

If you’re suffering from any type of disease, or dis-ease, your time, energy and focus may need to be directed towards your health and healing instead of the goals you want to achieve.

If you’re suffering from decision fatigue, your thoughts may feel cluttered and chaotic, you may be overwhelmed by the thought of making the next choice and unsure if it’s even the right thing to do.

If you’re suffering from distractions, you’re unable to focus on the goal you want to achieve or the steps it’s going to take to get you there.

These conditions have serious consequences and directly impact your ability to accomplish anything.

The good news is, you can heal from these conditions, or avoid them altogether.

The remedy for doubt is more faith and confidence. You need to believe that you’re actually capable, worthy and safe to go after what you desire. Knowing that God has everything under control no matter what it is you want to achieve is important. When you have faith that He’ll guide you each step of the way, you’ll feel a sense of relief and assurance moving forward.

The remedy for disappointment is encouragement and celebrating even the smallest of victories. Disappointments can wound you, opening space for fear, doubt and insecurity that leave you stuck and unwilling to move forward.

The remedy for disease is to focus on optimizing your health and wellness. Your health is the foundation for your ability to fulfill your purpose. When you’re sick, in pain and constantly fighting physical battles, you can’t give your full time, attention and energy to achieving your goals.

The remedy for decision fatigue is simplifying small, every day actions in order to minimize the amount of time and energy you spend on insignificant or routine processes. Make hard or important decisions early in the day before you’re bombarded with other choices. And know that whatever choice you make won’t make or break you.

The remedy for distractions is to get organized and eliminate your known distractions. From a cluttered workspace to a cluttered inbox, begin by getting rid of what’s unnecessary and preventing you from having clarity. Then set some boundaries. This may mean turning off notifications and pop ups or saying no to things that seem enjoyable but won’t help bring you closer to accomplishing your goals.

Those ideas, dreams and that unique vision for your life are meant to be taken seriously and acted upon. Continuously thinking about them but being held up by any of these 5 conditions will keep you in a constant state of stress.

So it’s time to go for it – to have faith, be encouraged, heal, choose, take action and make things happen. You’re capable, worthy and the only one who can make that vision your reality.
