RaspberriesRaspberries are packed with vitamin C, beta-carotene and folate. Raspberries help regulate metabolism and the antioxidant power includes an anti-inflammatory compound called ellagic acid which is known to be cancer protective.

Raspberry leaves are rich in tannins and can be used medicinally as a tonic, or tea, to help strengthen and tone the uterus in preparation for birth. Raspberry tea should only be taken during the last two months of pregnancy.
